Customer Review: Not much improvement over regular hose
Though somewhat more convenient than a regular hose, this hose gets tangled up on itself pretty easily, thus requiring time and effort to untangle. Due to the coils, it also gets hung up easily on anything in its way (patio furniture), more so than a regular hose. The hose is reasonably well-built quality-wise, and has a metal spring on the end that connects to the spigot to prevent kinking. The smaller hose diameter reduces water flow substantially compared to a regular hose, but is still sufficient for watering potted plants. There is also an adapter to screw it in to a kitchen faucet. Knowing what I know now, due to its higher water flow and being less likely to tangle, I would have just kept my regular hose and continue to roll it back up after using it.

Customer Review: whoops, defective battery
I received my hose reel three days after ordering, but because of work commitments I didn't get around to unpacking it until a week later. When I unpacked it I dutifully plugged in the battery and charged it for 24 hrs. Then I attempted to start it, it didn't start. I called customer service and they told me to check all the connections. Again, because of work I couldn't take the time to do it right then. A week later I again charged the battery, checked all the connections and then attempted to start machine--it still didn't work. I couldn't fool around with it right then so put it aside until the next week. I checked the charge on battery and noticed it was uncharged, again. This time I figured it was the battery and called customer service again. The friendly rep told me it sounded like a problem with the battery and would send me another one--though it might take 5 to 7 days to arrive. I told him I waited this long another 7 days would be no problem. It arrived in 3 days. I charged this battery up, put it in, and it ran perfectly. I attached the hose, pulled it straight and had the machine reel it in--great! I've pulled the hose out and reeled it in several times now and haven't had a problem. Works great, and great customer service from the company. Highly recommend.

What's the use of a hose rewinder that rewinds okay, but fights you to unwind the hose. Do not even think about this product. Kudos to Amazon for making this return painless and cost-free.

This is the best out side sink .Its easy to put on . I had a BBQ and with kids running all over and all the cooking this sink was great they were abel to was there hands out side and not go in the house with dirt also I was abel to wash the cooking utensils . Worth every penny, why didn't we buy this sooner?! At our horse barn we have running water, but kept getting our feet wet trying to wash our hands. Our kids were constantly soaked. We mounted this sink to piece of plywood, then a 4x4 post, ran the drain tubing into a 10 foot piece of pvc to further remove the run off and voila! No more mud puddle or wet kids! The only complaint I might have is that it is small/narrow, and the hose nozzle we had stuck out 1/2 way into the bowl. We ended up taking that off, and when you need to wash your hands you turn the water on low, step back to the sink and wash, the step back over and turn the water off. Adults can use a hose with the nozzle but it's too much to get on for small children. To the manufacturer I would suggest making it wider left to right and adding a sunken indentation for a bottle of soap? We just leave ours in the bowl.

Customer Review: Inexpensive but OK for occasional use
This is not a heavy-duty hose reel, and I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use or harsh environments. It is made of very lightweight plastic, so you need to put your foot on it when you unreel the hose if you want it to stay put. If you grab the hose and start walking, the reel will want to come with you until the length of connecting hose runs out of room. I wouldn't want to put too much stress on that short length of hose that connects the faucet to the reel -- all of the connections are plastic. Given the price, it works fine for infrequent usage. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on its long-term durability, but so far it is a nice alternative to having an exposed hose lying on my small patio. I live in a moderate climate, so I don't know how it will hold up in extreme cold, heat, or direct sunlight.

I was looking for a hose reel/container for my front yard, one that would conceal the hose yet not take up a huge spot in my garden or be an eyesore. This reel pot did both - looks nice, is small, and reels in hose well. I would recommend holding the pot as you reel in as it is lightweight and tends to tip if you are reeling in a large amount of hose.

Super disappointed. It is made the cheapest material possible and feels like it will break whenever you touch any of the parts. I connected it to two different spigots and it wasn't strong enough to take the the force of the water most of the water dripped out though the side and did'nt even reach the end of the hose. What a piece of junk. Avoid like the plague.

Customer Review: Didn't last long at all - terrible!
This product worked fine at the start but after one summer if failed to work properly. The handle when depressed would only let out s little amount of water. After some adjustment, taking apart the nozzle and configuring it still didn't work. spray adjuster in the front fell off so I screwed it back on but it still gets loose. The read adjustment screw doesn't work at all now and it is impossible to maintain water flow. Now, it is in the garbage because it won't work at all. JUNK! For you get what you pay for.
